Events Pages: 1 2 05.11.2017 MEDGEN Conference "National Day of Medical Genetics" held on 4 November, 2017. 05.11.2017 MedGen Final Meeting held on 3 November, 2017. 26.10.2017 During 15-23 October, 2017, a practical training program was organized and held at the Raphael Recanati Genetics Institute Rabin Medical Center and Schneider Children's Medical Center, Tel Aviv University, Israel, for the specialists of Yerevan State Medical University in clinical genetics and clinical laboratory genetics. 20.10.2017 Yerevan State Medical University n.a. Mkhitar Heratsi finalized the development of special courses in medical genetics for medical residents in non-medical genetic specialties. 03.10.2017 European Certification in Clinical Laboratory Genetics 03.10.2017 During 25-29 September, 2017 the staff members of the Department of Medical Genetics of Yerevan State Medical University n.a. Mkhitar Heratsi and Russian-Armenian University participated at the course for Clinical Laboratory Genetics in Education organized by the European Society of Human Genetics at the Athens, Greece. 22.09.2017 On 19 September 2017, the final quality control of new or updated education programs in medical genetics after review were presented and discussed during a web-meeting between all four partner universities and the Plymouth University, UK. 15.06.2017 In June 2017, an updated 2-week course of Medical Genetics for undergraduate students was established by the Department of Medical Genetics of the Yerevan State Medical University n.a. Mkhitar Heratsi as a mandatory course for further reconstruction in the undergraduate education curriculum at YSMU. 28.02.2017 During 21-24 February, 2017 a higher education-related training was organized by the Medical University of Graz, Austria for the partner universities (YSMU and TIIT) for newly developed education programs 17.10.2016 During 26 September - 12 October, 2016 two different training courses where organized at the University Paris Descartes, France for the specialists of all four participant universities specialized in both clinical genetics and clinical laboratory genetics 05.09.2016 During 31 August - 1 September, 2016, a special training program was organized by the Medical University of Graz and held at the Yerevan State Medical University, Armenia, for the specialists of the two Armenian universities 12.07.2016 Field monitoring visit of the cross-regional project "Developing Medical Genetics Education through Curricular Reforms and Establishment of Postgraduate Trainings" (MedGen) in Armenia 30.05.2016 On May 22, 2015 the annual meeting of the MEDGEN (Developing Medical Genetics Education through Curriculum Reforms and Establishment Of Postgraduate Training Programs) project consortium members took place at Barcelona, Spain, in the frame of the European Society of Human Genetics 2016 Conference during 21-24, May, 2016 06.05.2016 During 25-28 April, 2016, in the frame of Tempus MEDGEN project the training program was organized and held at the Center of Medical Genetics, Yerevan, Armenia for the specialists of Yerevan State Medical University. The specialists and residents form other medical centers and institutions were also participated. The training was conducted by Professor Heather Skirton and Specialists in Genetic Counseling Selina Goodman and Peter Lunt from Plymouth University, UK. The training program was mainly on how to learn and practice genetic counseling skills. 15.04.2016 During 10-15 April, 2016, in the frame of Tempus MEDGEN project NGS (New Generation Sequencing) Bioinformatics training with a special focus on Intellectual Disability and Autism was organized and held at Yerevan State Medical University. The training was conducted by Peter Ulz from the Medical University of Graz, Austria and Dr. Zdenek Sedlacek, Dr. Miroslava Hancarova, Dr. Darina Prchalova and Dr. Pavel Tesner from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. 07.04.2016 During 4-7 April, 2016, in the frame of Tempus MEDGEN project the training program on NGS (New Generation Sequencing) was organized and held at Tel-Aviv University. The training was conducted by Tommaso Pippucci and Pamela Magini form University of Bologna, Italy. The training consisted form lectures and workshops. 01.04.2016 During 29 March - 1 April, 2016, in the frame of Tempus MEDGEN project the training program on NGS (New Generation Sequencing) was organized and held at the Center of Medical Genetics, Yerevan, Armenia for the specialists of Yerevan State Medical University. The training was conducted by Tommaso Pippucci and Pamela Magini form University of Bologna, Italy. The training consisted form lectures and workshops. 01.03.2016 In February 2016, the ongoing Master Program of Genetic Counselling of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology was approved and licensed by the Technion and High Israeli Counsel 18.02.2016 During 17-18 February, 2016, in the frame of Tempus MEDGEN project the training program was organized and held in Israel for the specialists of Technion University. Many specialists from other institutions and medical centers were also invited to the training. The training was conducted by Professor Heather Skirton and Specialists in Genetic Counseling Selina Goodman and Peter Lunt from Plymouth University, UK. 01.12.2015 During 02-26 October, 2015, a training program was organized and held at the S. Orsola Hospital of the University of Bologna, Italy, for the specialists of Yerevan State Medical University, Tel-Aviv University, and Technion Institute of Technology of Israel. The training program was on how to manage and practice genetic counselling skills on patients with hereditary cancers, WES and bioinformatics. Pages: 1 2
