Yerevan State Medical University n.a. Mkhitar Heratsi finalized the development of special courses in medical genetics for medical residents in non-medical genetic specialties. 

Residents and physicians of different disciplines, including residents in internal medicine, family physicians, pediatricians, gynecologist, obstetricians, neonatologists, neurologists, oncologists, etc. can choose one or more courses relevant to their practice and needs. The created 8 courses of 1- to 3-week duration cover the clinical spectrum of selected groups of diseases with focus on their diagnosis, management and prevention, and medical genomics for wider understanding of clinical laboratory diagnostic approaches and their application in modern medicine.
