On February 19-21, 2014 first meeting of the MEDGEN (Developing Medical Genetics Education Through Curriculum Reforms And Establishment Of Postgraduate Training Programs) project consortium members took place at the Yerevan State Medical University (Armenia)

news5.jpgOn February 19-21, 2014 first meeting of the MEDGEN (Developing Medical Genetics Education Through Curriculum Reforms And Establishment Of Postgraduate Training Programs) project consortium members took place at the Yerevan State Medical University (Armenia). Up to two representatives from universities of Israel, UK, Czech Republic, Italy, France and Belgium gathered to discuss the launching of the new Tempus project related to development of Medical Genetics education in Armenia and Israel with the support of European partner universities. During the conference the participants discussed medical genetics education in their countries and respective universities, major tasks of the project and main aims and objectives, available resources, project timeline, duties of partners, curriculum development issues and financial matters. A detailed plan has been set up to implement the first aims of the project.
