In June 2017, a new postgraduate clinical residency program in Clinical Genetics as a sub-specialty was approved at the Yerevan State Medical University n.a. Mkhitar Heratsi.
In addition, the professional criteria of medical geneticist in the Republic of Armenia and eligibility requirements for the application to the residency program of Clinical Genetics were established.
